Oppose

1. Thank you for your recent contributions on Inkipedia, but I oppose as you are still a relatively new user, and your request for patroller lists things that can be done by a user without any rights. OrderSquid38 [Talk] 13:17, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
2. Simply put, you haven't been around enough. Nothing you have mentioned requires the patroller rights, and your output of edits has not inherently proven you have a solid grasp of the platform. Even your comment about re-application in three months demonstrates a lack of understanding of the site policy, as Inkipedia:Requests for Rights states, re-application for staff cannot happen after six months of a failed attempt, not three. A lack of attention to applying to this position alone does not instill much trust for the rest of your capabilities as staff. Please spend more time working on the site first. There is plenty to accomplish that does not require staff rights to perform. Trig - 05:38, 12 January 2024 (UTC)

4. unfortunately i will have to oppose as they have broken some policy rules about the Multiple accounts rule they have created 2 accounts User:Starbot and User:Snowdrop over the last 24-48 hours therefore, i feel like a veto vote to shut this vote down will need to happen at some point, apologies Florescent (talk) 19:42, 27 January 2024 (UTC)

  • Yes, Starbell is a deprecated account no longer used by the user in question. Even if we were to say that the rights would be awarded to their new account Snowdrop instead, the fact that that account was also blocked during the request period means this request should regardless be closed ASAP.
    Per the RfR page: "Users blocked during the application process will also have their rights request immediately closed." Driftin Soul (talk) 20:28, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
