Deepsea Drop is a moombah/hyper-pop idol duo located in Inkcheon Backstreets in Splatoon 3: Cuttlefish Expansion. They consist of a Cuttleling named Nautica, and an Inkling named Luster.

Roles

As Inkcheon's Unit A idols, Deepsea Drop take on several important roles. They take turns providing updates on maps, stages and modes via their television and livestream show Benthic Bulletin, as well as host and perform during Splatfests, with Nautica, and Luster each representing one of the four teams in every festival. These responsibilities are similar to that held by the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook and Deep Cut from previous Splatoon games.

While off the air, Deepsea Drop can be found in their news studio up on the overpass. In addition to their day job as presenters, they're investigating the Kamabo Co. sister location in search of clarity for Nautica.
