Welcome

Welcome to Inkipedia, Exaskliri!

We're glad you decided to create an account and join us at the free, editable encyclopedia all about the Splatoon series! You are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand our coverage of the series. Here are some things to keep in mind while editing:
  • Create your user page, your own personal space to introduce yourself!
  • The Ink Pump is the place to discuss wiki-wide things, including ideas, proposals, and questions.
  • Come join us on Discord to chat or play Splatoon!
  • Sign any comments you make on discussion or talk pages using four tildes (~~~~).
  • Visit the recent changes to see all the latest edits.
  • If you need help using and editing the wiki, MediaWiki Help is a good place to start.
  • If you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to ask any other editors or staff members - they don't bite!

Again, welcome, and we're glad you're joining us! Sincerely, Flame(Talk) 16:40, 24 January 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thanks for the welcome message. — Exaskliri (they/them) (talk | contribs) 01:30, 28 March 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Patroller rights

Congratulations on receiving patroller rights! You will now have:

  • Exclamation points on the recent changes page, next to each un-reviewed edit.
  • A [mark as reviewed] button on diff pages. Click it after you have reviewed an edit, so that other staff members know that all necessary review and action has been completed for that edit.
  • A rollback button on the recent changes page. It instantly reverts multiple edits to a page. This should only be used for reverting vandalism and spam, because it doesn't have the option of leaving an edit summary.
    • You can add a confirmation prompt to this button (to prevent accidental clicks) at: Special:Preferences > Appearance > Show a confirmation prompt when clicking on a rollback link

You may add your details to the staff list.

If you have not already, join us in Discord, where you will get access to the staff channel. This is the best way to get help from admins and chat about ideas.

Let me know if you have any questions. Please make good use of your new tools, and have fun editing! Shahar (talk) 15:23, 27 March 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thank you Shahar. — Exaskliri (they/them) (talk | contribs) 01:30, 28 March 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Missing image.

Can you upload a still version of the Tri-Stringer's rotating model, as it is missing from its article. Thanks in advance. Sincerely, P.J. GT(talk)SSBU Inkling Boy.png 01:51, 27 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I re-added the image. Thanks for the notice. — Exaskliri (they/them) (talk | contribs) 02:24, 27 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Special points to S1 main weapons

The points needed for each special are set and solely depend on what the special is. It is not necessary to add a parameter of special to the infobox of each main weapon in Splatoon as the main weapon or set is not related to it. Only what the special is. It's not a variable that changes between weapons who have the same special. Shahar (talk) 12:40, 1 July 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi. I'm aware of that (the points being the same for all kits with the same special; that info can be found on the special gauge page). I added the points on each main weapon page so people looking at a main weapon page won't have to open its special's page to find out the points. — Exaskliri (they/them) (talk | contribs) 12:53, 1 July 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yeah I don't think it's necessary, why not include duration and endurance while you are at it? Shahar (talk) 12:58, 1 July 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I think I get it now. Like, we don't list of special depletion on S2 weapons. Imma revert my edits now. — Exaskliri (they/them) (talk | contribs) 13:08, 1 July 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

New SRL Tweets today.

SRL Tweeted today about Brushes, showcasing both the Inkbrush and Octobrush. Can you upload the clips, their thumbnails and the intro image? As I'm bad at capturing thumbnails... Sincerely, P.J. GT(talk)SSBU Inkling Boy.png 13:14, 19 July 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I uploaded the videos and their thumbnails. Thanks for the notice. By the way, I added a FAQ page so you can upload Twitter videos and their thumbnails to the wiki on your own later. — Exaskliri (they/them) (talk | contribs) 14:16, 19 July 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Nomination interest check

Hi Exa, would you like to be nominated for admin rights on Inkipedia? If yes, I would be happy to nominate you. Heddy (talk) 23:47, 17 April 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Go ahead, thanks. — Exaskliri (they/them) (talk | contribs) 12:00, 19 April 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Admin rights

Congratulations on receiving admin rights! You will now have:

  • All the functions of a patroller. Patrolling is a shared responsibility of all Inkipedia staff. Press the [mark as reviewed] button for every edit that you review. For more details, see Inkipedia's patrolling guide.
    • If you see someone who qualifies for autopatrol, you can promote them to reduce the amount of edits that need to be patrolled.
  • The right to delete pages. Make sure you understand the deletion policy before deleting pages.
  • The right to protect pages. You can protect pages to prevent some user groups from editing the page.
  • The right to block abusive users from editing. Make sure to read the blocking guidelines before issuing any blocks.
  • Many other tools.
  • A bold dark green username on the recent changes page.

You may wish to add or update your details on the staff list.

If you have not already, join us in Discord, where you will get access to the staff channel. This is the best way to get help from other admins and chat about ideas.

Let me know if you have any questions. Please make good use of your new tools, and have fun editing! Heddy (talk) 23:13, 5 May 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Inactivity

Hello Exaskliri, you appear to be inactive on Inkipedia.

If you have a real-life responsibility, challenge, activity, or other excuse, then please review the excused guidelines, which explains how to properly update the RightsList template with the "excused" status. If you provide a reason and update your status, you will become immune to demotion, within reason, as explained in the excused guidelines.

At this point, you have been inactive for over 4 months. If this continues for another 2 months without an excuse being provided, you will be considered eligible for demotion.

Please let me know if you have any questions! Heddy (talk) 04:33, 2 October 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Heya.
So, the uni's getting busy and I'm a bit disinterested about Splatoon nowadays.
Sure, you can demote me to autopatrolled right away; I can just ask for my adminship when I want to help later. — Exaskliri (they/them) (talk | contribs) 18:26, 2 October 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Understood. I will process your demotion. And yes, please ask for reinstatement if you become interested again! Thank you for your contributions! Heddy (talk) 18:42, 2 October 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
