Welcome and some pointers

Welcome to Inkipedia. Your aim to have new uploads is much appreciated, though I am sorry to say your versions have been reverted. On Inkipedia, we don't allow upscaled files, which is definitely the case for images such as File:Octolings Player Settings Customization.png and File:Orange gloopsuit.png. Larger sizes might seem like they're directly better, but the game actually needs to output at that size; The switch at maximum outputs at 1080p. Please refrain from further upscaling images. That said, thank you for your contributions and we hope to see more changes soon! Trig - 15:46, 28 April 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Upscaling

Please refrain from upscaling images with AI. It's not allowed per INK:OFFICIAL. Miss Delibirda (talk) 14:36, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Your recent edits

Hello, please refrain from creating pages such as "Spatoon" and "OctoLing". They are unhelpful to the wiki and do not belong on the mainspace. If you want to expand on these pages I suggest you make them into a user subpage. Thanks! OrderSquid38 New Squid.jpg OrderSquid38 [Talk] 22:12, 12 May 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Upscaling images

Hi, I've noticed that a lot of the images you upload are upscaled. Please don't do this! It's against Inkipedia's Policy for good reason. Upscaled images don't look any better than images at their original resolution, they just take up more space and make the image appear warped (regardless of whether you use AI or do it manually). Switch screenshots are completely fine, but if you really want your images to be 1920x1080 you can just add {{ImproveQuality}} to the file and someone else can take higher quality screenshots for you. I can do this for you, just please stop upscaling. Cackle Cackle Team Aliens head icon.png (talk) 02:09, 13 May 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
