Your recent change to the Inkfest page.
I found out that the dates for some upcoming Minifests were made inaccurate from your recent edit to the Inkfest page. So I fixed them. You may have made a mistake. No hard feelings! : ) P.J. GT (talk) 12:44, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

Deletion
Can you please splat the file File:Concede? Thanks! User:Yaxops/sig2
- Files that are in use shouldn't be deleted. That file was used on a talk page, so it should not be deleted. Heddy (talk) 22:42, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
Marking image uploads as patrolled
The only thing that wasnt patrolled at the time of writing was an image which i couldnt mark as patrolled. How can i mark images as patrolled? Thank you Squid400 (talk) 14:45, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
- To mark an image as patrolled, go to the image page. Underneath the summary, on the right side of the page, there is a link that says "mark image as patrolled." Click on that to mark the image as patrolled. Hope it helps! User:Eminence/Sig3 15:52, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
- Alternatively, you can use PatrolTool and select File as the namespace. Heddy (talk) 19:15, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
Something I should tell you about
Inkipediafan has added information not related to the Inkipedia three times. Just wanted to tell you. Also User:WoomyMcBoomy looks to be blocked for an unknown reason. Maybe because of InkaHi. ChessMaster [TALK] 14:53, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
Multiple User Sandboxes?:
Is it possible to have more than one User Sandbox? P.J. GT (talk) 19:59, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- @P.J. GT You can have as many sandboxes as you want in your user space. For example, you could create User:P.J. GT/Sandbox2, User:P.J. GT/Sandbox3, etc. Heddy (talk) 20:14, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- Alright! Just wanted to ask permission first. I'm thinking of a personal competitive style for it. P.J. GT (talk) 20:23, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
Sus user:
This new user: “Art Fart” seems suspicious. It could be that vandal from last summer due to their name possibly hinting that. Just warning you about this person. Thanks. P.J. GT (talk) 13:24, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
- Definitely an odd choice for a username. I will always be watching recent changes for bad behavior. Heddy (talk) 04:54, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
- Also three users that have just been created that all have Chesca in it's name. Bit sus ChessMaster [TALK] 23:19, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- 2 of those 3 have "Cheesca" and 1 has "Chesca". I think we should see if they are the same person, and if they are, tell them about the multiple accounts policy. If they are not the same person, it's probably impersonation. But by looking at the times these accounts were created, I think they're the same person. dedf1sh07[talk] 00:03, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
Suspicious user: CherryisTrash
The user CherryisTrash might be a little suspicious. They might be referring to CherryAudino in their name, but it could be something else. Just wanted to let you know. dedf1sh07[talk] 15:05, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
Sloppy Competitive article creator.
The user; User:Pokidude342 is making competitive space articles that are poorly written and based on their opinions. He should be notified that those articles are for elite, high-skill tournament play info and NOT someone's random personal opinions. Can you tell them, please? Thanks. P.J. GT (talk) 02:21, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
- @P.J. GT Think of the collaborative spirit of Inkipedia and wikis in general - the best way to handle this is to edit the articles to improve them. If something sounds wrong and is not supported by citation to a tournament winning player or top 500 player, I would just remove what they added. It doesn't matter if the first edit seems like a random opinion, because over time it will be replaced by opinions of experienced players. All opinions are allowed as Inkipedia is a wiki that anyone can edit, though they should brace for the possibility than their opinions may be removed!
- Perhaps Pokidude342's contributions will kick-start improvements to those articles. Nothing gets people more motivated than seeing some "wrong" opinions on the Internet!
- As for poor writing, it would be good to give them specific tips about writing. I may do so, and I encourage everyone to help other editors with writing. Heddy (talk) 03:54, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
- Alright. Sorry about giving poor judgment on the get-go. It just bothered me, and I don't have that much knowledge on high-level competitive play. P.J. GT (talk) 12:32, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
Possible spammer
Please block user Mx39 as they are most likely a spammer. They made this inappropriate edit, but reverted it a minute later. Despite reverting their edit, they should still be blocked per the vandalism policy. Please deal with this as soon as possible. Thanks, User:Eminence/Sig3 15:50, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks. I issued a block. Heddy (talk) 18:00, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
Question about the Wall of Fame
Can people who are on the Wall of Fame still be a staff member? I've noticed Bzeep recently made an edit, and I was thinking of nominating her for patroller or admin rights, but I wasn't sure. dedf1sh07[talk] 20:26, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
- There is no restriction, so yes they can be a staff member. However, when Bzeep was asked about staff rights on Discord, they were not interested. Former staff members can have their rights back without a formal request just by asking. Heddy (talk) 21:09, 30 August 2021 (UTC)
Question about ship policy
So, I read through the Inkipedia policy and didn't really notice anything about ships. Would it be okay to add a small tidbit about a ship to my user page, so long as there isn't any fanart or inappropriate discussion? Thanks! Avery\_/Fiasco 23:45, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
- It's fine as long as it doesn't go against the 7 NOs of Inkipedia. Heddy (talk) 05:01, 12 September 2021 (UTC)
- It better not be that toxic Pearl & Marina ship thing! Cause that's just WRONG!

Vandalizing
Hey Heddy, User:Dk is vandalizing on Cap'n Cuttlefish and Move It Move It Station (wrong mem cake). Please fix this asap cuz I heard that you should report vandals to admins. BadTimeGamer123 (talk) 21:11, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
- I undid the edits tho BadTimeGamer123 (talk) 21:18, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
- @User:BadTimeGamer123 you are correct. Always report vandals to admins. Now they are repeating the vandalism on the Move it Move it page. At first I thought they might've mistaken but now it is vandalism on purpose. ChessMaster [TALK] 21:34, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the report. Heddy (talk) 02:20, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
Uppercase or lowercase?
Hey, so I noticed you lowercased "version" on the Main Page, and I was wondering since it was a common noun, then shouldn't all "version"s be lowercase, too? For example, I'm pretty sure a lot of pages have "Version" preceding whatever version they're talking about. I just wanted to make sure in case I do a bunch of things that get reverted. dedf1sh07[talk] 20:26, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Dedf1sh07 Right, because versions are generic labels as opposed to proper names like "Minecraft: The Bountiful Update", this means they should be lowercase. Heddy (talk) 21:06, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
Hey Prinz here
How do I add my old edits?--Redacted Squid (talk) 16:01, 23 January 2022 (UTC)

Approving my request for rename
Hi. So, I was wondering if anyone like you could verify and potentially approve my request for rename. That would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. User:Cynical Prince/Sig 02:50, 8 March 2022 (UTC)

Vandalism!!
There is a vandal by the name of FartEater275 who is running amok! Can you or another person prevent this before it gets even worse? User:Cynical Prince/Sig 04:54, 9 March 2022 (UTC)
- Please Block User: "Farting Stinkies Peeyew" and splat their user page too!! P.J. GT(talk) 12:10, 18 March 2022 (UTC)
- Could you change the block time of user "Ewpootiebun" from 1 week (due to the Abuse filter) to indefinite, as it is the same vandal from this month and eighteen months ago. Plus Splat their user page too please. Sincerely, P.J. GT(talk) 13:11, 21 March 2022 (UTC)
- With pleasure. Though, the initial 1-week block duration (suggested by me on Discord) was intended to make the block less "cruel" in case of false positives, as admins can simply extend the block for, you know, blatant vandalism cases (also my suggestion). — Exaskliri (they/them) (talk | contribs) 13:57, 21 March 2022 (UTC)

- Excuse me, Heddy. But, there's a new vandal called "SplatoonHater9000" and i'm trying as fast as i can to revert it back. Can you or anyone block them before it got worse? Samurottlover (talk) 05:18, 3 April 2022 (UTC)

The user "Prya" has vandalized the user pages of "YOLO2020", "Nick the Splatoon Fanboy" and even MINE! Their past edits were also questionable FYI. Can you please block them? (PS; I've already warned Shahar about this.) Sincerely, P.J. GT(talk) 19:50, 13 July 2022 (UTC)
- I’ve noticed this user too. At first I thought their edits weren’t that serious, but now they’re taking it too far. OrderSquid38 (talk) 23:27, 13 July 2022 (UTC)

Vandal crud that NEEDS deleting!
Can you please delete the page "Weener", the file "Sussy2" and vandal edits on the Signals and Splatoon 3 pages. They are obstructing the wiki. P.J. GT(talk) 11:29, 26 July 2022 (UTC)

Heddy (talk) 16:25, 18 September 2022 (UTC) - @Heddy, Thanks for re-wording my edit, (Return of the Mammalians Trivia) I'm not that great at English (I'm Japanese btw) and I'm still in Middle school, if you see any other edits I made that could do some re-wording, please do so. Thank you again! Shiver (talk) 00:05, 8 October 2022 (UTC)

block?
Hey Heddy! I'm relatively new to the wiki, but I'm in spanish class and bored right now, so I was reading through the Shiver talk page and I clicked on some users to read their pages cause I like to. I found a user named Pinkolol16, and their userpage is basically a ragequit from the wiki after the whole Shiver gender thing. Should something be done about this? I came to you because I feel like admins always know what to do in these kinds of situations :). Sorry if I'm a bother. Thanks, Xandpochondria (talk) 17:44, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
- They're entitled to their opinion. As long as no wiki policies are broken then no blocking is needed. Plus, if they've quit then they're basically self-blocking anyways. I'm happy to help, asking questions is not a bother to me. Feel free to discuss further if you wish. Heddy (talk) 23:07, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks! Like I said, I'm new but I love to help!

how do you request deletion of a page?
How do i request deletion of a page? There is for some reason a page on super smash bros. ultimate which even to someone who hasn’t read the inkipedia policy (me), that seems outside the scope of the wiki and like something that should be deleted. If this is the proper way to request deletion of a page, i am requesting that the super smash bros. Ultimate page be deleted or at least replaced with a link to the smash bros. Wiki. If this is not the proper way to request deletion of a page, or if requesting page deletion does not exist, please inform me. If the latter, then that is an oversight that i believe should be corrected as soon as possible to prevent pages like the super smash bros. Ultimate page from being created. Thank you sincerely, Cruelty to Salmons (talk) 19:16, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
- Deletion should be discussed on the talk page for the page in question. Regarding Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, it's on the wiki due to having Splatoon content in the game. Heddy (talk) 23:09, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
- I feel like a page on a video game series that is entirely different from splatoon is outside the scope of the wiki, and that the super smash bros wiki does a much better job of cataloging this video game. Instead of having a page for content that has its own, separate, wiki, we should continue to keep inkipedia content within the boundaries of the splatoon series without branching off into other video games series. Having content only partially related to splatoon in this wiki is, i believe, detrimental to this wiki. I suggest that the super smash bros ultimate page be deleted as soon as possible. Cruelty to Salmons (talk) 14:12, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hey @Cruelty to Salmons!
- Even though it is from a different game series, the Smash Bros. page does have a lot of helpful information on it. If someone were to look up information about the Inkling in Smash Bros., the wiki would both provide information on the character, while providing backstory on why this specific character can melt into an orange puddle on the stage! I'd have to check, but maybe there is a link we could provide to the smash bros wiki to put on their page for anyone who's curious.
- Also, things like the trivia for the Octo Expansion pages can seem off-scope, but it's in there anyways.
- Thanks for reading and (hopefully) understanding,
- Xandpochondria (talk) 14:37, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
- I’ve read the trivia section of octo expansion, and i believe that its entirely fine to mention a video game that is not splatoon in the wiki. Having its own page is something entirely different and is unnecessary for pages that have their own wiki. Inkipedia should maintain its standard of quality and remove unneeded or off topic pages. I have suggested replacing the page with a link to the smash bros wiki, which i believe is a solution that could work just as well as deleting the page entirely, if that is what you want. I would like it if we could reach a compromise. Cruelty to Salmons (talk) 14:52, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
- There is an entire wiki dedicated to super smash bros, and if people want to learn more about the super smash bros. Version of the inkling then they can use that wiki. If splatoon fans want to learn about smash bros, then they can visit the smash bros. Wiki, and if smash bros. Fans want to learn about splatoon then they can visit inkipedia. They are two separate things.I don't believe there is a page for splatoon in the smash bros. Wiki, so why should there be a page for smash bros. In inkipedia? Cruelty to Salmons (talk) 15:05, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
- This wiki attempts to cover every aspect of Splatoon, including Splatoon content in other games. If anyone wants to know anything about Splatoon, they should be able to find it on this wiki. I hope you now understand why the Smash Bros. page will not be being deleted. Thanks! User:Eminence/Sig3 15:17, 20 October 2022 (UTC)

Stage rotation?
Someone suggested that we should put the stage rotations back on the main page, and I was wondering if one of you admins could? I personally think it's a good idea, since the main page looks a little empty now, but what do you think? ArivakiVA (talk) 16:48, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
- I agree, the main page could definitely use some sprucing up. Adding back the stage rotations is necessary. while were at it we could also add “did you know” and “featured article” sections like some of the other wikis have. Cruelty to Salmons (talk) 14:24, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
- Adding rotations is a good idea. However, I do not have the skills to code that. Anyone (doesn't have to be admin) who has the skills and is interested in making it happen is welcome to create it.
- For the rotation idea and other ideas impacting the main page, it would be best to discuss them at Talk:Main Page. Heddy (talk) 21:40, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
- Okey-dokey, thanks! I only put it here because someone suggested I ask a staff directly. Thanks for the help! ArivakiVA (talk) 18:24, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
Uploading images from switch?
Uh, what is the best way to get an image from my switch to the wiki? I want to be able to upload an image or two of my avatar to my user page. Just wanted to ask. Thanks for being a good staff! ArivakiVA (talk) 18:23, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- The best way to do it is to go to your photos on your Switch, click on the photo you want to upload, and hit "send to smartphone". You can send multiple photos at a time if you need to by pressing "send a batch". Next, scan the QR codes that pop up on the screen with your camera on your phone. That should send the photos to your phone. Then, you hold your finger on the photos, and hit "save to photos". Finally, go and upload the photos to Inkipedia by pressing the gear icon in the top-right corner, and hit "upload file".
Hope this helps! WolfTamer File:S3 Icon Callie.png 18:54, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks! I appreciate it! (I just need to get some storage on my dang phone...) ArivakiVA (talk) 19:50, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
The smartphone method WolfTamer mentioned is probably best. Another way is to use the Switch's SD card, and connect the SD card to a PC. You could also use the Twitter/Facebook method but those routes lower the image quality slightly. You can search "transfer photos from switch" on Google or on YouTube if you need detailed steps. Heddy (talk) 01:26, 29 October 2022 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks to the both of you! I really appreciate the help, especially since I'm relatively new around here. ArivakiVA 17:56, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
I have a question about the policy
Does “No revealing personal information” include favorite songs and/or artist(s)? Chrome Wolf (🎙, 🗂). 21:54, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- I ain't Heddy but yeah that's totally cool. It's more like, don't let people be able to find where you live or commit identify theft type of personal information that's not allowed. Unless talking constantly about how you are the single greatest Depeche Mode fan the world has ever known and it could be traced to you somehow, you're totally good. Interests are not identifiers. a user breaking policy?
Hey Heddy, there is a user that I have noticed around editing their userpage. On their page, it lists they have two other accounts. I left a note on their page a little while back when they only had one main and one alt account. I'm not sure if this is a big deal or anything- they don't seem to make edits on any of their accounts, and they exist for their ocs. Just wanted to bring this to your attention. The user is Lilsquidy80. Thanks, Xandpochondria 17:41, 4 November 2022 (UTC)

Hi, Heddy. I noticed that a little while ago, you gave the user "Kid" a warning about their repeated vandalism. Well, they are continuing to vandalize multiple pages, even after you gave them that warning. Should they be blocked? WolfTamer File:S3 Icon Callie.png 15:12, 8 November 2022 (UTC)

- No problem! I’m happy to help! WolfTamer File:S3 Icon Callie.png 23:41, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
Hey, I was told you’d be a good person to say this to,
I created the page Treasure of Alterna, and someone added that it was gonna be merged with the loot anchor page, but I think that isn't a good idea, because it contains information about collectibles that AREN’T inside loot anchors as well, otherwise I would have put it in there.

Removed Advice
On Wolf Tamer s talk page, there was a conversation that ensued (and at the time did not involve Wolf Tamer) and I told them a good place to have their convo would be a sandbox (they were talking about lore). Then a user named Ink Me Up! deleted it. I tried to revert the edit but it said I couldn't. I rewrote what I said before and also told them they couldn't do that, and here we are now. I'm not sure if you could/should do anything, but I'm telling you now. TL;DR (can I do one of those?), a user deleted some advice/warning I gave them on another user's talk page. Regards, Xan 21:07, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
- I apologize, it was resolved. Xan 21:24, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
- There is no need. The incident happened on my page, not Wolf Tamer’s. Ink Me Up! wrote an apology saying they thought that a comment was a duplicate, and so they deleted it, again, thinking it was a duplicate of another comment. Chrome Wolf (🎙, 🗂). 21:24, 15 November 2022 (UTC)

- A tip: if you need to restore a page to a prior state, you can select a prior revision from the history page. Each page has an associated history that can be accessed by pressing the History button at the top of the page. Heddy (talk) 23:10, 15 November 2022 (UTC)

- I did that, Heddy. It said something was incorrect about it so it couldn't be reverted. I think it was bc stuff got deleted and written over. Xan 01:07, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
I have a problem
On my sandbox, there seems to be an error, and it makes me edit via source editing. I am convinced you might be the perfect person to ask, so this I am reaching out to you asking for advice for help. The message that is given is: “Error contacting the Parsoid/RESTBase server (HTTP 404)” (this was copied and pasted from my sandbox error message). Any advice/help/tips? Chrome Wolf (🎙, 🗂). 18:39, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
- There is no solution for now. VisualEditor is only working for articles, not user pages such as your sandbox. The webmaster is aware of the issue; it will probably be fixed when VisualEditor gets updated. For now, use the source editor. Heddy (talk) 18:57, 19 November 2022 (UTC)

Suspicious user (?)
I have a suspicion for the user “Flamescope”. I already talked to him about this, but he deleted a few things on my user page and didn’t say anything about this, and his description was “nothing much”. I have already undone this edit, and I think Flame scope is suspicious. Thanks for understanding. Ink safe. Chrome Wolf (🎙, 🗂) 21:19, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hey, um so sorry because this is totally none of my business, but I looked at what that user did and it was a fix from “Dont” to “Don’t”. I definitely think it was not necessary and should have been left at that, but maybe they didn’t know the basis for not editing user’s pages? This may or may not be the case, but just putting this out there. Thanks!

- Well instead of whining to an admin about it, who probably can't do much about it, teach them. Flamescope probably doesn't know that you can't delete talk pages and stuff on wiki. Revert their edit and show them policy and whatnot. Xan 12:29, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hey I don’t think it’s necessary to speak like that. @Chrome Wolf just doesn’t want people touching their page, and I don’t blame them them. Talking to an admin seems like a fairly appropriate approach to the sitiuation. Anyways, I do agree that Flamescooe probably didn’t know any better. If they don’t respond to your message on their talk page I would definitely bring it up again. 👍 (Hope this helps!!!)

- Yeah, in the moment, when something seems so fairly obvious to me, I might get a little obtuse ig. I appreciate you keeping me in check. Xan 12:43, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
- If the user doesn’t respond to messages (like @Chrome Wolf has already tried), and they even said that Flamescope deleted their message. It’s not possible to teach someone who won’t respond. Clarinet.octo (talk)File:S3 Tableturf Card Murch.png 12:46, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
- I undid it and taught them, hopefully it won't happen anymore. Xan 12:56, 29 November 2022 (UTC)

Time On Inkipedia
How did you put how long you have been with Inkipedia on your user page? Mipha (talk) 23:21, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
- Mipha: I used Template:InkFor. Heddy (talk) 19:35, 10 December 2022 (UTC)
- I tried to do that and followed the template and example and the box didn’t appear in my user page. Mipha (talk) 04:56, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Mipha: You have "nowiki" tags around it. Nowiki tags disable any special formatting, so if you remove them it will work. Heddy (talk) 13:44, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
- Ok thanks! Mipha (talk) 01:13, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
- I fixed the no wiki thing I think but the date part isn’t working Mipha (talk) 02:05, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Mipha: Your edit shows that you removed it completely. You should add it back, just without the nowiki tags. Heddy (talk) 02:08, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks! It works now! :) Mipha (talk) 02:12, 16 February 2023 (UTC)

@Mipha: Before people become a patroller I think they should have the following experience:
- At least 100 edits to Inkipedia articles (user page edits don't count)
- At least a few months of editing Inkipedia or wikis in general
- Knows how to review recent changes, improve upon or revert recent edits, and help other users with those edits
Heddy (talk) 04:45, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- Ok so quite a while for me, thanks for telling me the requirements though. Mipha (talk) 00:41, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
- They aren't hard and set requirements—they're pretty loose in that regard. Being a member of staff is more reflective of actual contributions (quality + quantity both), character, and ability to effectively communicate and work with others. This is a pretty general thing for most sites you'll find, not just Inkipedia. Being promoted is really an earned title, not one met as a requirement per se. Trig - 01:38, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
- I agree with the above. Generally the best patrollers are the people who were already patrolling recent changes and helping the community on a regular basis, before getting the actual patroller position. Heddy (talk) 12:15, 18 February 2023 (UTC)

Miss Delibrada's Patroller Promotion
Hey Heddy,
A few weeks ago, I nominated @Miss Delibirda for patroller. As it has been two weeks and a consensus (all for), we need an admin's final say. Would you be willing to do this? I would appreciate it, and I think Miss Delibrada would too.
Thanks, Xan 01:07, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
Image uploading from other site?
Uh, so, I'm trying to upload a sprite image from the OMORI wiki, but no matter what I try, it keeps saying the file seems to be empty. I've never uploaded an image before, so I need a bit of help. (In case you're wondering, I want to upload it for my user page.) Thanks! Hae (chat) 19:32, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
- Make sure it's one of the permitted file types listed on the upload page. If it's empty, then it sounds like you may have been unsuccessful at downloading the file, so you should try again if that's the case. Heddy (talk) 08:49, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
- Okay, finally got it to work! Thanks a ton! Hae (chat) 18:00, 14 December 2022 (UTC)

Inkfest!
Hello! I see that you are active on Inkepedia a lot, so I wanted to invite you to vote and/or participate in my inkfest! I plan for it to happen in late January (very tentative), but I just wanted to make people aware! Thanks, Xan 22:58, 18 December 2022 (UTC)
Contesting revert
Hello Heddy, I would like to contest this revert on the Charger page.
The descriptions of weapons in the table do not need to have unnecessary information, and, in my opinion, should focus on what sets the weapons apart. I thought that I had more neatly achieved this goal than the current state of the article.
Most chargers can store their charge, it is exceptional when one cannot, and noting that a charger cannot store its charge does not require noting the mechanic was added in Splatoon 2, as it will be true in all games in the series, as opposed to the inverse which would need to be noted on most chargers and requires the fact that it is only true post-Splatoon 2 noted, adding unnecessary clutter to what is supposed to be a short summary of the weapon so that one can compare them at a glance. I also think that important information added in regards to the Goo Tuber, Snipewriter, and Bamboozler's characteristics was lost in the revert.
I do believe I was incorrect in not noting that the aerial charge mechanic for the Squiffer was added in Splatoon 2, however. I also do not 100% believe that I am correct on this, and the previous state of the page may have been better, I am willing to listen if you disagree with me. Inkublu 🖤 (talk) 05:16, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- I only just noticed this similar revert to the Classic Squiffer page, and in this case I partially disagree with the revert - the fact that the aerial charge mechanic was added in Splatoon 2 is important and should be noted in the Splatoon 2 section, as you did, however I also believe it should be in the intro to the article as it is a unique characteristic of this charger in Splatoon 2 onwards that sets it apart, and users read this section of the article to learn what sets this weapon apart in general (though it should still be noted there that the mechanic was added in Splatoon 2) Inkublu 🖤 (talk) 05:24, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Inkublu please be careful when writing these descriptions as they are supposed to summarize a weapon that exists in 3 games. Since Splatoon does not have charge storage, it's not good to mention charge storage without clarification. About Classic Squiffer, yes I agree that it would be good to mention that in the lead section as long as it's clarified which games have or don't have the feature. Archiving my talk page
Hi! I just wanted to say that my talk page is friggin' humongous, but I don't know how to archive it. Could I have some help? Thanks! Arivaki-Kun (banter) 19:02, 7 January 2023 (UTC)

A Splatfest change
I was wondering if we should add an end date for the splatfest box. I think we should because if there is a start date, and i don't think that anyone is going to click the pic just to see the date. They could look at the main page but what if someone was it set that they have load on to their account when they click a link to Inkipedia. Thank you. Splat.girl (talk) 22:51, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
- The end time or countdown is already displayed when a Splatfest event starts. Heddy (talk) 00:52, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
- Oh. But where is it displayed. If it is in the game than why can't we add it here? Splat.girl (talk) 19:56, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
- It's displayed right above the image once the event starts. Heddy (talk) 02:05, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
- Idk, can I just add it anyway Splat.girl (talk) 22:58, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
- I'm personally not interested in adding another date because I feel having it show up when the event starts is sufficient, and people needing to know more can just select the link and read the article. After all, the purpose of the main page is to feature content and get people reading wiki articles. While I'm personally not interested in that suggested change, you could still discuss your idea with others on the Main Page's talk page or the Ink Pump. Heddy (talk) 22:17, 19 February 2023 (UTC)

How do you sync the stage schedule for Splatoon 2’s schedule page?
I made a Splatoon 3 version today and I wanna implement the same technique for the page. How do I do that? Plus, there is a glitch with my page for the Salmon Run shift times. How do I fix it? KPOfficial26 (talk) 22:48, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
- You need programming skills to get that done. If I recall correctly, the entire Splatoon 2 schedule was created by GuyPerfect, a talented coder. The schedule uses a script that gathers data from SplatNet. You can view the splatoon3.ink code that powers the https://splatoon3.ink/ website if you want an example to borrow from. Heddy (talk) 01:30, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
- The script is ready. Just waiting for the webmaster to implement it. Shahar (talk) 11:00, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
Site Color template
About the OE site color, I think it would be better if it was the same pink color that it is now, but it should have the neon greenish blue border that is always with that pink color in OE material. What do you think? Bobby(talk) 17:03, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
- As far as I can tell, all the site colors are a single color with opacity variation to give the impression that multiple colors are used. So I'm not sure if multiple colors can even be implemented. If you want to propose a change you can bring it up on Inkipedia talk:Ink Pump or Template talk:SiteColor. Heddy (talk) 21:06, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
