The elevator is the level select and progression mechanism in Side Order. It transports the player from the foyer to the Control Room on the top of the Spire of Order.

In the elevator, on a normal 30-floor run, the player is given the choice of three floors with varying difficulty, objectives, and rewards.

• According to Acht, the elevator returns back to the foyer if it is empty, explaining why she never leaves it.
• The elevator music changes depending how high in the Spire you are.
• When you defeat Marina Agitando, Marina appears in the Elevator and cheers you on as you ascend.
