Team Eight is a team of Octolings in the Splatoon manga, led by Eight.

Description

Eight

Main article: Eight (character)

Eight is a character in the Splatoon manga. He is a male Octoling with the "Punk" hairstyle. He wears the Squidlife Headphones, Red Cuttlegear LS, and Suede Gray Lace-Ups with the classic shorts. His main weapon is the Blaster. He takes the role of Agent 8 in Vol. 7.

Seven

Seven is a character in the Splatoon manga with the "Tentacurl" hairstyle. She is a female Octoling who wears the Black FishFry Bandana, Annaki Drive Tee, and Punk Cherries with the tight black pants. She uses the Octo Shot Replica.

Burns

Burns is a character in the Splatoon manga. He is a male Octoling who has the "Afro" hairstyle. He wears the Tennis Headband, Dakro Golden Tee, and N-Pacer Au with the classic shorts. His main weapon is the Krak-On Splat Roller.

Ponytail

Ponytail is a character in the Splatoon manga with the "Pony" hairstyle. She is a female Octoling and wears the FishFry Visor, Squid Squad Band Tee, and Red Hi-Tops with the classic shorts. Her main weapon is the Dualie Squelchers.

Personality

Eight

In the beginning of the Octo Expansion Arc, Eight claims to have lost their memory, aside for snippets of his memory which showcased him with his teammate, Seven. He is friendly towards Goggles when they first meet, and even protects him which he is in danger. He is portrayed to be similar to Goggles as he tends to support his antics or do them as well, first shown in Chapter 24 of Volume 7 where he helps Goggles lay the Octarians to rest and treat them for their 'cold'.

Seven

According to the Inkling almanac, she likes music bands.

Burns

Similar to the rest of his team, Burns is portrayed as a carefree, naïve Octoling, which is also a trait that Goggles and Bobble Hat have. However, he seems to be less childish than his teammates and more of a straight man, he tends to agree with Specs on their team's stupidity, as shown when he and Specs call out Goggles and Eight for standing on their Ballers.

Ponytail

Ponytail acts the same as her team, more similar to Eight and Seven than Burns. She is very childish, and she just does what her team does. Even though she acts air headed, she seems to get shocked by Goggles' antics.

Trivia

• According to the Inkling Almanac, Eight has started to pickle things thanks to Goggles' advice.
