Bomb Sniffer is an ability in Splatoon.

Mechanics

With this ability active, all opponent bombs within a certain distance have skull icons appear on top of them, which can be seen through objects.

This ability also decreases splash damage from bombs:

• 20% decrease: Burst Bombs
• 40% decrease: Splat Bombs, Suction Bombs, Seekers, Ink Mines

Tactics

Bomb Sniffer allows players to easily spot opponents' bombs. It also helps to survive a Bomb Rush.
