Hero Charger Replica

The Hero Charger Replica is a Charger Main Weapon in Splatoon.

Visually, it is based off of the Hero Charger found in Octo Valley, but stats-wise it is identical to the Splat Charger.

The Hero Charger is not available during regular Octo Valley but can be used at the amiibo stand in Inkopolis Plaza with an Inkling Girl amiibo. When using this Amiibo, the player is given the chance to go through some of the previous Octo Valley levels that they have beaten and replay them using a Charger rather than a Shooter.

Unlock

To unlock the Hero Charger Replica, the player must play all available missions from the Inkling Girl amiibo:

• Boss 1: The Mighty Octostomp!
• 5. Floating Sponge Garden
• 6. Propeller Lift Playground

• 14. Octoling Assault
• 15. Undeniable Flying Object
• Boss 3: The Rampaging Octowhirl!
• 16. Propeller-Lift Fortress
• 17. Octosniper Ramparts
• 20. Octoling Uprising
• Boss 4: The Ravenous Octomaw!
• 23. Spongy Observatory
• 25. Far-Flung Flooders
• 27. Unavoidable Flying Object
• Boss 5: Enter the Octobot King!

The blueprints to the Hero Charger Replica are received after completing the fifth boss challenge.

Description

When the blueprints are obtained and given to Sheldon in Ammo Knights, he will give the player the Replica as he cannot copy the technology shown on the blueprints. Even though it looks like the Hero Charger, it has the same stats and weapon set of the Splat Charger.

Though not for the Replica, the following notes for the Splat Charger apply:

“	In terms of stats, the Splat Charger sits right in the middle of the chargers, and thus has the most versatility and the possibility to adjust for play style. Splat Bombs are powerful tools on their own from mid-range, so Ink Saver (Sub) and Bomb Range Up can be particularly useful abilities when using this loadout.	”
