Tips

  • Its fast fire rate and high spread allows faster turf capturing. It is more recommended than the Splattershot if you wanna claim more turf.
  • Due to the spread, it is recommended going up close to land more hits.
    • Players should beware of the Aerospray RG whilst using this weapon as it can be devastating towards the player.
    • A second threat can be any Roller except Inkbrush if you are unaware. Use squid form to back out and reposition.

Countering

  • Catch them off guard and kill them before they can react.
  • Use long ranged weapons such as the Splatterscope to kill players using this weapon before they can get up towards you.

Trivia

  • This weapon is based on the 1985 version of the NES Zapper. The name N-ZAP '85 also derives from this.
  • While this weapon has nearly identical stats to the Splattershot Jr., it fires straight instead of spreading shots in random directions, giving it better accuracy at the cost of spreading ink slower.
