Competitive Viability
The key feature of every Sploosh in competitive is the abysmal range it possesses. Otherwise the main weapon is pretty solid, boasting both strong shots and high fire rate, which is a rare combination among shooters. The problem with the Neo Sploosh, and every Sploosh for that matter, is the question of how it is going to avoid getting zoned out completely by just about every weapon which outranges it. The Neo Sploosh has the best answer to this, use the incredible Kraken special to it's fullest ability and get as many kills through that as possible. It actually works fairly well, and the Neo Sploosh had seen a bit of use in competitive until Sheldon's Picks Vol. 2 came out, and along with it the N-ZAP '83. The '83 has the same kit as the Neo Sploosh but with actual range, so the Neo Sploosh has since seen almost no competitive use. It is still the best Sploosh of the three.

Sheldon's Introduction

The Neo Sploosh-o-matic is a custom Sploosh-o-matic emblazoned with an original emblem. Mark your opponents with the Point Sensor, and then crush them with the power of the Kraken! Getting in close is vital for this setup, so it is suited to battlers who excel at flanking their foes.

The Cold Blooded ability will reduce the amount of time the player is tracked by Echolocator and point sensors by 25%. This can help the player stay hidden while ambushing foes.

The Quick Respawn ability shortens the player's respawn time after being splatted. As a short range shooter, the Sploosh-o-Matic will sometimes result in the player being splatted at the same time they splat the enemy. Quick Respawn also helps support a more aggressive playstyle.
