Template:Infobox ability Special Duration Up increases the duration of special weapons. Forge gear has a 5x chance of rolling this ability.

In-Depth Ability

The effects of Bubbler, Inkzooka, Kraken, Bomb Rush, and Echolocator all last longer. For Inkstrike and Killer Wail you're only given more time to aim the weapon, but the effect itself does not last longer. When Bubbler is extended to teammates, they also benefit from the increased duration, even if they don't have the Special Duration Up Ability.

The Special Duration Up ability increases the amount of time of the Special Weapon. Therefore the length of such weapons is increased in battle and can be used to splat, track foes, and protect yourself depending on the special that you currently have equipped.
