Yoko is a character in the Splatoon series. She has appeared as the trumpet player and frontwoman of Ink Theory in Splatoon 2, before leading her own band, Yoko & the Gold Bazookas, in Splatoon 3.

Appearance

Splatoon 2

Yoko is a fair-skinned Inkling. In Splatoon 2, she wears a black dress with a gold tie and a black-colored horned hat. Her tentacle colors vary from purple, orange, yellow, and pink.

Splatoon 3

In Splatoon 3, Yoko wears a long flowy frilled black dress. She continues to wear a horned hat, except her hat is significantly larger than the first one and is in grey. Her tentacles are tied with rope, she has two new colors added to her hair, blue and green.

Personality and traits

Yoko is portrayed as insecure, as sometimes she feels overshadowed by the other members' personalities. She is described as often getting nervous before large productions. She also has a weakness to atmospheric pressure; on rainy days she is said to have a dead face and when the weather is sunny, she struggles as well. She is a hard worker and always gives a solid performance.[1]
