Aerospray MG is a Main Weapon in Splatoon.

Description

The Aerospray MG fires quick bursts, so its user can cover a relatively large area with ink in a short time. It is also a short range Weapon, so it will make quick work of nearby targets. It is in a set with the Seeker and the Inkzooka. The Aerospray MG can only be purchased after defeating The Rampaging Octowhirl Boss Battle and obtaining its Sunken Scroll.

Created by Sheldon from his grandfather’s blueprints. Extremely high rate of fire. Each shot is weak individually, but a sustained barrage can really pressure opponents.

Notes

The Aerospray MG covers a lot of ground quickly, making it great for Turf War—but serviceable at best in Splat Zones. This is primarily a short-range weapon—use the Inkzooka special for long-range engagements. Use the Ink Saver ability to reduce the amount of ink this weapon consumes. This allows you to use a Seeker to find and defeat enemy players while continually shooting, covering more ground and capturing Splat Zones.

Trivia

  • The Aerospray MG appears to be designed after an aerograph, a type of airbrush.
  • The "MG" in this weapon's name likely stands for "Master Grade."
