Horrorboros is a King Salmonid that appears in Salmon Run Next Wave during an Xtrawave. It is the second type of King Salmonid to debut in Splatoon 3.
Description
Horrorboros is a large, dragon-like Salmonid. It has a large mouth with the weapon device similar to that of the Steelhead. It spawns at the water's edge, slowly rises into the air, and slowly moves around the map, floating above it, just at the edge of a weapon's reach, in a dragon-like manner. It uses the Booyah Bomb weapon as its main attack, charging it up using the contraption in its mouth and launches it down towards the players. Players can also attack the bomb from its mouth to deal massive damage against Horrorboros.

Etymology
Horrorboros is a portmanteau of "horror" and "ouroboros", an ancient symbol of a serpent or dragon that is eating its own tail.
