The Fizzy Bomb is a sub weapon in Splatoon 2. It appears to be a Bomb-type weapon, which can be charged up by holding down the button, increasing its power. The weapon was first teased at the September 2018 Nintendo Direct, along with the Kensa Collection of weapons, two new Special weapons and changes to Splatfest. The Fizzy Bomb will be release in Version 4.1.0 in early October, according to the Squid Research Lab.

Trivia

• The weapon's name is a reference to carbonated soda or water. The charging animation shows the user shaking the weapon, similar to how soda cans, if shaken, can release a spray of soda if opened.
  • In addition, the weapon resembles a soda can, as well as an M67 hand grenade.
