The Tacticooler is a special weapon in Splatoon 3. It was revealed in the Splatoon 3 Direct.
Appearance
The Tacticooler is a beverage cooler with four energy drinks, one for each teammate. Before being thrown, it is shaped like a canned food container.

Description
The Tacticooler is used by placing a short, cylindrical object on the ground, which then expands into a standing beverage cooler. Four soda cans are taken out of the cooler and held by short metal attachments. The Tacticooler will also play a jingle when it is ready to use. The player and their allies can grab one of the soda cans and drink it, giving them a speed increase for a short time. In addition, if a player is splatted while under the effect, they respawn immediately and won't receive special depletion after the splatted animation ends (about 1 second time total). However, the player will lose the effect immediately upon respawning even if the timing for it has not expired. The cooler can also be used as a shield.
