Though, unlike other brushes, which typically fling ink in a wide area, the Painbrush spreads ink in a much more narrow field, straight ahead of the user, similar to the [[Splatana]]'s horizontal slash. The Painbrush is an upcoming main weapon in Splatoon 3.

Appearance

The Painbrush resembles a fan brush with a slit in its bristles. Its silver, metallic handle resembles a palette cup. On the handle near the bristles, the Nouveau logo can be seen, colored white.
