The Classic Squiffer is a main weapon in Splatoon and Splatoon 2.
The Classic Squiffer is a charger-type weapon that charges faster than a Splat Charger, and uses less ink, but suffers from less range.

Trivia
- The Classic Squiffer appears to be designed after a spray bottle.
- The Squiffer was originally called "Quick Ink Rifle", as seen in an image from before Splatoon's release, and it had the sub Splat Bomb and the special Bubbler. This set was later given to the Splattershot Jr., and Splat Bomb was given to a charger with the Splatterscope.
- With maximum Main Power Up this weapon will outrange the Bamboozler-though not by much.
