* If a bullet is in the air for more than 8 frames after being fired, it loses 1.09375 damage per frame until it reaches 17.5 damage at frame 24.
* Bullets have a radius of 2 units.
* Shots cannot ever deviate from the inner reticle while on the ground.

Etymology

Neo Splash-o-matic is derived from Splash and Automatic, plus the prefix Neo, Ancient Greek for new. The prefix Neo is also used to differentiate it from the Splash-o-matic. This trait is shared among the other alternate sets of the Neo Neo brand. The -o-matic suffix is also a common, cliché naming convention for technological gadgets.

シャープマーカーネオ shāpu mākā neo is in reference to the pen-based appearance of the Neo Splash-o-matic. Like the English name, Neo is also used to differentiate it from Sharp Marker.
