Italian, female. Known as Wallowigi in the Mario wiki. C2 level in English proficiency, and moderate knowledge of Japanese cultural aspects. Mainly adding Italian names and translating, but I also update and give descriptions, fix typos, add links among many other things. Kind of a do-it-all. I am a huge professionality-nerd, so please pardon me for being a sort of gunnery sergeant Hartmann.

My utopistical goals for Inkipedia:

  • Turn it into a wiki as good as the Mario Wiki, which in my opinion should be the standard for game wikis.
  • Remove strongly opinionated stuff out of user pages. I know, there's nothing inherently wrong in preferring idol A to idol B, or shipping idols C and D because they once shared a look, but that's not stuff to discuss in formal environments such as wikis, and does not help or prove itself useful to the wiki's actual content (instead, it often is a hindrance, with edits from some users being highly POV-ridden and spreading misinformation). Not to mention content targeting other users and groups. Again, that's my opinion. Just look at the Mario Wiki userpages, again! That's what I strive for.
  • "Idol wins Splatfest"->"Team represented by Idol wins Splatfest".
  • A section dedicated to BJAODN (Bad Jokes and Other Nonsense), like Wikipedia and the Mario Wiki. Having a good laugh during work is nice.
  • Not using sources from Twitter that are not official. I feel it promotes said Twitter users, which should not have any due weight regarding the documentation of official material (and often draw controversies which have no base...)
  • Have a list of frequently misused words in the Manual of Style section ("lore" being the most butchered and misunderstood).
  • Not treating certain users like they're God. Sadly, I see a lot of favoritism in this wiki's environment.
  • ...Define how much trivia is too much? I often see the notice on pages that have quite a normal amount, or don't see it on pages that have trivia sections longer than the rest of the content.
  • Have the wiki have an official, indexed forum instead of a Discord, and move wiki-related discussions to the Ink Pump.
