Long ago in 2019... Team Chaos won the Final Splatfest. Inklings and Octolings soon came rushing to Splatsville, the city of Chaos... of course. | |||
One day, one Inking named VeronIKA became the most popular Inkling of all of Splatsville, winning many tournaments in the area. | |||

One certain Inkling became very jealous. And started to research this "VeronIKA". The obsession became so strong, that this Bamboo-Hatted Inkling changed her name to Veron. | |||
Many months later, Veron followed VeronIKA through a creepy-looking manhole... And soon found out that VeronIKA became the latest Agent of The New Squidbeak Splatoon! | |||
"What a disgrace!" Veron was disgusted. She was too late. | |||

Veron later went back to the hot desert to rest... However... | |||
"What could it be?...." She slowly opened her eyes. "Deep Cut!?" | |||
"We need your help," Shiver said. "I see you're following these buffoons as well?" Shiver showed up a poster of The NSS. | |||
"They're trying to take over Splatsville and steal the spotlight!" An angry Frye leaped out. | |||
"Ay! (We figured your skills could help us out!)" Big Man peaked over. | |||
Veron agreed. Veron was then appointed to be a secret spy for Deep Cut to keep a lookout on the New Agent 3 and gang. | |||

Mission after mission (that Agent 3 was doing)... Veron was watching behind the scenes for the right time to strike back, while Deep Cut were making distractions. | |||

After watching and following Agent 3 this entire time... | |||

"MR. GRIZZ!?" Veron exclaimed through her earphone to Deep Cut. "DEEP CUT! Mr. Grizz... HE'S REAL!!!" | |||
"What do you mean?" Shiver shaked. | |||
"BIG FOOT! HE'S REAL!!!! BRACE YOURSELVES! The world's gonna end!!!" | |||
"AY!!!!!! (I FREAKIN KNEW IT!!!!)" Big Man shook in fear so much that he became a potato chip. | |||
"ABORT MISSION! ABORT MISSION! Leave the rest to us!" Frye was yelling so loud into the mic that she almost ate it. | |||

And so, with Veron retired as a spy, and Agent 3 saving the world... Veron thought: | |||
"Maybe I should find something new to do instead of being jealous?... Yeah.... Maybe...." | |||
After the train opened, Veron then started to travel and discover new places outside Splatsville. And became friends with too many Octolings! | |||

origin story

This. Is the story of my Inkling.
Long ago in 2019... Team Chaos won the Final Splatfest. Inklings and Octolings soon came rushing to Splatsville, the city of Chaos... of course.
One day, one Inking named VeronIKA became the most popular Inkling of all of Splatsville, winning many tournaments in the area.
One certain Inkling became very jealous. And started to research this "VeronIKA". The obsession became so strong, that this Bamboo-Hatted Inkling changed her name to Veron.
Many months later, Veron followed VeronIKA through a creepy-looking manhole... And soon found out that VeronIKA became the latest Agent of The New Squidbeak Splatoon!
