::::::I doubt it. I think they they just like to adjust characters for aesthetics every now and then. You see it a lot with mimicry in recent games, but they used it for most of the script text in the first Splatoon, as well as a lot of the sign script in Splatoon 2. If these were alternate versions of the scripts, that'd be really interesting, but I don't think we'd ever be able to solve them. {{User:Cackle/Sig}} 01:11, 14 June 2024 (UTC) | |||

- also tell me your findings if you find any LuckySoda (talk) 20:07, 12 June 2024 (UTC)
- There are a handful of decipherable characters in the text, but the majority seem to be undecipherable.
- Here's what I was able to parse; bolded characters are definite as they correspond in both shape and orientation, non-bolded characters are indefinite with same orientation but loose shape match, or exact shape match but differing orientation, and question marks are unknowns:
- K?????X? PK MA?KXLP??M
- All the definite characters are in "Sign" script, but most of the indefinite ones resemble "Alterna" script. Given this seeming blend of scripts plus the positions & makeup of the definite characters, I'm strongly inclined to say this text is either strictly mimicry or is gibberish, and not properly decipherable.
