:Consensus is, I don't think there's any official media showing anything like that unfortunately, not even something minuscule like them wearing Hero Mode armor. But she has been shown on a much higher scale like VeronIKA and Hiro have, so I feel like that should at least be accounted for and looked into instead of being brushed aside. ::Well, you're welcome to liaison with some of our other editors who are working on [[User:Cackle/Promotional characters|pages for promotional characters]] if that is a sector you are interested in. It is not our intent to necessarily "brush aside" any info, only document it in the most reasonably factual manner.
::But ultimately it does seem that your argument in this instance boils down to "this character is a prominent promotional character, ergo they must be an Agent, even though they are never shown or described as such". I struggle to see the 'heavy' implication you're attesting even on a personal level, to say nothing of what we can include in our unbiased and factual coverage as a wiki. {{User:Driftin Soul/Sig}} 16:27, 25 July 2024 (UTC)

Agent 3 (Splatoon 3)

Hi! I was wondering whether you had any sort of formal source or evidence indicating or depicting the promotional character "AnemoneNo1" as Agent 3?

This topic has come up multiple times before and each time the consensus was that there was no official media linking this character to the "Agent 3" identity beyond them also being a prominent promotional character (no art of them wearing the Hero Suit, being depicted interacting with Smallfry or other characters only Agent 3 would likely personally know e.g. the Squid Sisters or Cuttlefish, and no explicit statements from official sources such as social media or developers).

If you do not have any new evidence to provide, I'm afraid your edits will need to be reverted. Driftin Soul [Talk!] 15:46, 25 July 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hello. I suppose you are right that there are no official media linking that out-right say that AnemoneNo1 is an Agent 3, but it has been heavily implied unlike any of the other ones, don't you think so? I feel like this should at least be attested somewhere instead of treating this character as just another one of the prominent promotional characters. I've just looked at most official AnemoneNo1 sources and it's mainly just them being together with Hiro and Veronika in terms official things (with the exception of Merch due to Nintendo mainly taking the '1 Octoling 1 Inkling' gamble at that), appearing in official artwork like the Artbook one, Amiibo trailers, official japanese quiz, etc.
I found the Artbook Artwork one most interesting because it's as if they're representing gamemodes; where as Hiro represents Hero Mode, VeronIKA represents Turf War and AnemoneNo1 representing Salmon Run, rather than it depicting that; "this promotional character is actually an Agent 3" or "this promotional character is the face of Turf War".
Additionally, I remember that it was confirmed somewhere that Sunken Scrolls are written/drawn by the agents we play as. If that's the case, could this also be confirmation of these three being Agent 3s in some way?
User 0CTOCHARG3R found that in Sunken Scroll 13, all three main weapons of each of those three promotional characters are used here. And some other users point out that the writing style of each weapon here is different, so could it be that it's those three writing here?
I'm adding onto this whilst I'm looking at the trailers, it seems that AnemoneNo1 keeps being the most prominent one besides VeronIKA, of course. Appearing to showcase gear, the lockers, in the amiibo trailer to showcase the two that got an Amiibo and in the waiting room for one of the Splatoon directs where she was just dancing for a good hour or so.
