Version 3.0.0 is an update to Splatoon 2 that has a undefined release date.

Multiplayer

  • Various Gear added.

Single-Player

  • New DLC, called Octo Expansion, will introduce a new single-player story mode and playable Octolings. They will control Agent 8, who's an Octoling that wakes up without any memories. Enemy Octolings in this mode seem to be recolored a sickly bright green. After completing this campaign, players will be able to play as a Male or Female Octoling in regular multiplayer gameplay like Turf Wars and customize them just like Inklings. It will cost 20 USD.
  • Can now talk to Callie in the single player campaign, Octo Canyon.
