Staff decision to delete this page's contents

Staff has decided to delete the previous version of this page due the content owner, OatmealDome, pointing out the article copied directly from their blog post excessively with minimal citations, without permission. Additionally it was found the lead of the article had been copy-pasted without alteration from a Wikipedia page.

We've decided a new article on netcode could be allowed on the wiki in the future if anyone would like to write one, granted the new article doesn't present the previously mentioned issues. Additionally the level of detail previously seen on this page is considered not within wiki scope; future documentation doesn't need to extensively explain what Pia or NEX are nor the minutiae of how they function. A very basic overview of the netcode's structure has instead been added to this community glossary entry in lieu of a new netcode page. Yoshifan52 (talk) 21:16, 17 May 2024 (UTC)
