Splatoon 3 changes?

Did any of the text change in Salmon Run Next Wave's field guide, for Salmonids that are present in both games? Heddy (talk) 15:41, 23 October 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Im not sure about it but I think the only change its the spelling (some different words) but apart of that nothing changes as the old bosses are still with the same mechanics (maybe another change will be the Grizz Tips?)

Might be a bit late, but here are all of the changes I can find:
  1. Generally added the pronouns to all sentences that were previously missing them (which is almost every Attack Behavior and Elimination section).
  2. Supporting Information of Chum, Smallfry, and Cohock has one of the commas changed to a dash.
  3. Snatcher has its portrait updated, removed a comma from Basic Information Section, and added fact about aircrafts.
  4. Attack Behavior of Steelhead is reworded ("It can't throw these bombs very far" is now paired paired with the second point rather than the first). Also, added comma to second Supporting Information point, and added a "Ew." to the end of the third.
  5. Elimination of Scapper is reworded ("the chink in its armor" is changed to "the gap in its shields"), and adds "and old cookware" to the end of second Supporting Information point.
  6. Attack Behavior of Maws is slightly changed ("and swallows it" changed to "and can swallow it") and added commas to points in Elimination and Supporting Information.
  7. Basic Information of Drizzler calls them a "floaty fighter" instead of a "flying fighter" and changed "Covered in armor that" to "Its armored umbrella". In Attack Behavior, changed "These projectiles explode into a shower of ink" to "Its projectiles explode into clouds that rains down ink",
  8. In Water Levels, there is an additional comma in the first Low Tide point, and the second High Tide point specifies "During high tide". The first point of Supplementary Information is changed from "...are a rare phenomenon found only in this area" to "...are a rare phenomenon unique to areas where Salmonoids like to gather". The second point removes a comma.
  9. In the second What Happens point, it is changed from "gather in response to the appearance of Glowflies" to "gather wherever Glowflies appear". The first Advice from Mr. Grizz has an extra comma.
  10. Goldie Seeking is by far the most changed section:
    1. Added a new point: "Other Salmonoids will attack in masses from the shores."
    2. Changed third point "You can shoot the Gusher to make it erupt, but chances are a regular salmonid will pop out instead of a Goldie" to "Shooting open a gusher without a Goldie in it will cause it to erupt. Thankfully, there won't be anything hiding inside".
    3. How to Get Golden Eggs section changed to "Reveal the Goldie by causing the gusher it's hiding in to erupt" and "The Goldie will drop Golden Eggs if hit with enough ink."
    4. Advice from Mr. Grizz has an extra comma.
    5. The last Supplementary Information point was changed from "The Goldie loses scales when hit, so it's able to move faster the more you damage it!" to "The more you hit the Goldie, the faster it will move!"
  11. In Mothership, the How to Get Golden Eggs changed "...Chinooks to make them explode" to "...Chinooks, and they'll explode". Also, the Supplementary Information section calls it a "link" instead of a cog.
