Nautilus Lore

My Splatsona is a nautilus inkfish who can turf just like Inklings and Octolings! I know real-world nautili don't use ink, but neither do salmon or rays, so I think I'm safe here. Their swim form is very similar to their normal form, except their tentacles shrink a bit and their shell, made of crystallized ink, melts away to leave a pointy plating on their mantle. They're particularly sensitive to bumping their head on the anti-swim railings seen on many walls (to the point of concussions), and they always make sure to reform the shell when standing again. Just like Gnarly Eddy, they use their tentacles to mimic a humanoid body and wear clothing. They even cut the sleeves off some of their clothes to slip onto the 'arm' tentacles!
