Gotta put my somewhat unpopular opinions somewhere, teams displayed in bold.

Callie Vs. Marie

I can't exactly remember anything about splat 1, just that I was on Marie because well, it's Marie

Cake Vs. Ice Cream

Ice cream is like that one thing that works anywhere, cake only works if you're very hungry.

Mayo Vs. Ketchup (2017)

Condiment battle of the decade, I just like ketchup more.

Flight Vs. Invisibility

I'm sure people would become very concerned if they saw me flying, so invisibility for me.

Front Roll Vs. Back Roll

Best Splatfest ever, anyways back roll because Marina, and my dog attempting to eat toilet paper.

Warm Breakfast Vs. Cold Breakfast

I don't think I even need to explain the ones about opinions, they're all basically the same.

Film Vs. Book

Really depends on the content, but film usually.

Action Vs. Comedy

Again it also depends on the movie itself, action just is more appealing.

Gherk-OUT Vs. Gherk-In

They're evil, that's it, that's all there is.

Chicken Vs. Egg

Why would I not pick the scientifically correct one.

Salty Vs. Sweet

My favourite is actually butter, but salty is next afterwards.

Just gonna not explain the TMNT ones because they're not interesting.

Pulp Vs. No-Pulp

Pulp is evil I tell you, don't go near the stuff.

Squid Vs. Octopus

While I technically play as an Octoling, I was not risking playing on octopus because I knew the players would be a bit less than great. (No offense to anyone on octopus)

Adventure Vs. Relax

It's the option between breaking my legs and not breaking my legs, pretty easy I think .

Retro Vs. Modern

Modern, next.

Trick Vs. Treat

Watching people suffer is funny, that sounds very wrong.

I do not have an opinion on this matter and therefore will pick Marina.

I mained heroes at the time, that has not changed .

My friends play splatoon, my family doesn't.

I don't want to break the timeline, and teleportation would be pretty cool.

Adults can do more than children, pretty easy choice.

Chaos Vs. Order

Honestly I was looking for a pretty cool futuristic splatoon 3, and also I don't want to like blow up the world, though the splatoon 3 we got was still amazing

Same as last time yippee.

Trick Vs. Treat (2020)

I actually changed surprisingly, though mainly so I could play my friends.

Chicken Vs. Egg (2020)

Same as last time, nothing else to say.

Mushroom Vs. Star

It's invincibility vs being big, this really isn't a contest.

Rock Vs. Paper Vs. Scissors

Finally here in the Splatlands era, so anyway I think everyone can agree this was just Shiver Vs. Frye Vs. Big Man because I doubt many people have strong opinions on rock paper scissors. Anyways BigManSweep all the way (we sadly only swept a 0p loss), but it was a fun time, even if tricolor was a tad bit unbalanced.

Gear Vs. Grub Vs. Fun

So firstly, there's no reason to pick fun, you will die, and will most likely get bored after an hour. Secondly, while food is important, there's most likely some on the island, and if there isn't, you can use the gear to fish. I have heard arguments saying that you can just build gear, but one that's not easy with your bare hands, and two, you could be attacked beforehand, which having gear with you could save you from.

Honestly this is probably my favourite theme to date, it's not just a simple opinion or fact based matter and there's good arguments for each side.

After the Splatfest I can confirm that it wasn't exactly great for anyone, constant mirror matches for gear, grub always getting bodied, and fun getting tricolored, also wish I could've actually played tricolor more than twice.

Grass Vs. Fire. Vs. Water

Water all the way, we got the cool starters like the cute amphibian Mudkip, the cool frog Froakie, and of course the dapper duck Quaxly.

Here's hoping that this fest is more spread out vote wise, don't want another gear moment.

And it looks like my prayers were answered, overall the fest was incredible met some great teammates, some amazing wins, and of course finally defending our place in tricolor. The Big Man sweep was just the cherry on top.
