A kind of hot take

I'm honestly kind of glad that Marina's sassiness was toned down later as Splatoon 2 progressed in its storyline. I like Marie, but there didn't exactly need to be a Marie 2.0. Leave that to her, in my opinion. If you take a look at some old announcements for stages (particularly ones released during the game's opening), Marina is a bit more sassy, same with Pearl. (Both of them weren't always nice, but they likely did it because people eat that stuff up in Inkopolis for scandals and they still did care about each other) ElizieAngelina (talk) 15:53, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
