Originally known as Overlook, the team has been notoriously known for re-branding themselves multiple times. Nintendome officially re-branded the team for the Messtival! 2 tournament as Team Nintendome. Despite finding a great amount of success under the Nintendome brand, the team entered SCL 9 as Team Retro Squids and on January 11th, 2016, the team parted ways with Nintendome and was rebranded once again, this time as Team Retro Squids [1].

On January 19th, 2016, the team officialy disbanded due to internal issues [2]. As a result, many of their former members ended up merging with other teams in the process (some of them joined Choke Squad, while others joined Team Paradise). However, after obtaining positive results while playing on SCL 10, the former Overlook members that were playing as UNDER THE BUS decided to part ways with Team Paradise and re-establish Overlook once again on January 24th, 2016 [3].
