It is the main controller in Splatoon. The Gamepad uses it's Gyro-sensors and the L-stick to track and aim the movement of an Inkling. In-game, you are able to turn off Gyro-sensors. You can also tap on an ally's squid on the Gamepad to Super Jump (teleport) to them.
