Warning regarding disruptive edits

Hello, please do not make edits that disrupt the wiki such as creating new maintenance categories or notice templates without prior discussion. Those changes have been reverted. If you have an idea, please bring it up on the Ink Pump so you can get feedback before implementing such large changes that concern the entire wiki. Thank you! Most recent deletion notice

Hey, polls and proposals are typically archived regardless of their outcome. This can notably prevent duplicate polls by letting other users know which proposals have already been suggested and declined, so you should not delete something simply because the end result does not please you. Hi, Octopedia. It has come to my attention that you're asking people on their talk pages to vote on your poll. With all due respect, please stop this. Actually, people have, in the past, gone around and asked people to vote in a poll, although 1) This was done my a b-crat, and 2) This was a long time ago, in 2015/6, and it hasn't been done recently. I could be wrong on both counts, but I do know that it did happen. Hope this helped you see where they might have been coming from. -Xando (talk) 16:58, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
