:Now I can confirm that this is the case; brella's stats with main firing speed are much different from something like blaster (brella is 117% and 126% at level 1 and 2, while blaster is 150% and 200% at level 1 and 2); not sure what other color chips can vary from weapon to weapon Nauty (talk) 07:25, 25 February 2024 (UTC)

::Well, I was thinking of something else, but this also could be a possible solution: Why not make pages for every chip? I know it sounds a bit... preposterous, but all the chips have comments from Acht, Marina, and Pearl, just like the Jelleton Field Guide, so it would only make sense to have those on Inkipedia as well! Plus, then we could have a section for each chip and how it affects different weapons! This would, of course, mean a lot of testing, but I'm willing to document it all! I mean, I can operate Google Sheets. TheEmeraldLunast75 (talk) 16:59, 25 February 2024 (UTC)

:::Yeah, I think pages for every chip would be a better solution than the current tables, especially if some of the chip values are different between weapons. It'd be a shame knowing how much work has gone into the tables, but there's clearly enough information for each chip to merit its own page. color chip variety

we are still missing some color chips from the list such as the "no lauch brella" chip (support) which is specific to the brella/Marina's Pallete which, in essence makes the brella into the undercover brella but the brella shield will still constantly ink the floor. Stilllight (talk) 23:42, 22 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

ll if we're missing anything, feel free to add it! Inkipedia is less about mods making edits, and more about the entire Splatoon community helping to make oodles of Splatoon knowledge easily accessible. If you notice anything at all that needs to be fixed or added to, just do it! If you're wrong, there's no penalty or anything! We'll just fix it. Simple as that! Stay Fresh, and have a ridiculously awesome day!

i just don't know how to work with charts. Stilllight (talk) 03:27, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
also missing moving ink speed (exclusive to roller and brush); offers 170% and 200% at levels 4 and 5 respectively Nauty (talk) 07:53, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That’s wonderful! Do you know the percentage for all levels? As in, other than 4 and 5? If not, that’s fine. In response to Stillight, that’s fine! I used to be unable to work with charts too! If you want to learn, you can do what I did! I would go to pages, and look at the Source Code. I would pick up on words that actually appeared on the page, then changed them. Overtime, I learned! I'd like to enter some of the some percentages/numbers for some color chips, but it says I don't have permission to edit the page. How do I obtain permission to put in the numbers? (I have all 5 for knockback and some other 31 chips) AnotherSpareBackUpEmail (talk) 21:24, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

joining here since the page is protected. i have a good amount of chips not listed on the page, and can gather up and verify more sources. in addition, Charge Hold is not a charger exclusive chip, as i have seen it on stringer runs.
if the discussion for this page is on the discord to compile the information, do let me know -- tables are a big part of scratching my brain.

There's six extra Color Chips which appear during the Epic Battle only: the (Type) Spectrum Chips LatiusAuro (talk) 18:45, 24 February 2024 (UTC)ps.Reply[reply]

Visible upgrades from color chips

I was wondering if there should be a section that lists the type of color chips that will show visible upgrades the more chips you get of it like main distance/homing shots adds a headset or ink damage and firing speed adding lights around the weapon Argus (talk) 21:52, 24 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Some Color Chips Have Different Values

Depending on the weapon you're using, certain color chips will provide different stats for each stack; for example, the main range buff at level 1 is 115% for Splatling, while the wiki lists 160% for whatever weapon was used as reference; it's possible the wiki number is simply wrong but it might be worth investigating Nauty (talk) 01:16, 25 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
