Splatoon 2 is the second instalment to Splatoon. While it was revealed on October 20, 2016 during the Nintendo Switch reveal trailer, Nintendo did not officially confirm that this or any other game showcased in the video is in development.[1] [2] In the January 13, 2016 Nintendo Switch Presentation in Tokyo, Japan, Nintendo officially announced the game as Splatoon 2.
