Formula

A = Ability Points = 10 × Mains + 3 × Subs

B = % change due to Ink Saver (Main) = (0.99 × A − (0.09 × A)² ) / (200/3)

C = ink consumption per shot = [base consumption] × (1 − B)

Blasters:

Blasters recover ⁵⁄₃ % of the ink tank after every shot, which allows Ink Saver (Main) to have a greater impact on them than any other weapon class. The results of each of the following steps needs to be rounded down to a whole number before moving to the next step, because there is never a fraction of a shot. Shown here is step E being done 3 times as E, F, and G. Step E needs to be done 5 times for the Luna Blaster, 4 times for the Blaster and Rapid Blaster, 3 times for the Range Blaster and Rapid Blaster Pro.

D = Number of blasts without counting ink recovered between shots = 100 / C

E = Extra blasts from the ink recovered while firing D shots = D × (5 / 3) / C

F = Extra blasts from the ink recovered while firing E shots = E × (5 / 3) / C

G = Extra blasts from the ink recovered while firing F shots = F × (5 / 3) / C

Total blasts = D + E + F + G

Sloshers:

Number of sloshes = 100 / C

Round down to a whole number, because there is never a fraction of a shot.
