Inkipedia talk:Requests for Rights

From Inkipedia, the Splatoon wiki

An admin should add [[Category:Archived rights requests]] to Inkipedia:Requests for Rights/Archives/GogglesKunInkling. User:Mr squid/Sig 14:57, 4 October 2016 (UTC)

Edit Count

I had an idea that, when requesting rights, you should say how many edits you have made and what percentage of those are "real" edits. This is an important factor in deciding whether to approve a request or not. To find out this information you can use Fumple's edit counter. I want approval from an admin before I make this official because this is an important topic. Eminence Chatter 19:08, 22 October 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I don't think it's something that should be necessary. People are able to check for themselves if they think it's something important but also it can change drastically in the course of voting if people are editing a lot. Luke26 (talk) 13:36, 23 October 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Well, just an idea. Eminence Chatter 13:47, 23 October 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Can i get patroller rights

I have been on 25 days,am online every 6 hours,am helpful, trustworthy and also edit on other media wikis (tho im not as active).I always had to revert vandalism on fandom,is this enough?--PrinzTheOverlord [Talk] 19:36, 15 November 2020 (UTC) Reply[reply]

The proper procedures for requesting rights can be found on Inkipedia:Requests for Rights. I'd recommend waiting a while longer and continuing to edit and monitor recent changes though. Luke26 (talk) 21:14, 15 November 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

How long do requests stay active?

How long do requests stay active before it is archived? I think we need to address this in the RfR page. Some requests, like Shahar's were active for over a month before Shahar was promoted. Also, SQUIDKID2000's RfR was not archived for two months after it was clear he would not be promoted. I think we need to have a limit on how long a RfR can be active before the request is closed. There is no set rule. I think we should write two weeks, or maybe a month. Does anyone have an opinion on the timeframe? Heddy (talk) 22:15, 1 February 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
