Splatoon's anime series is an upcoming web anime on YouTube. It is set to release on August 12, 2017. The anime was announced by Sankichi Hinodeya, the creator of the Splatoon manga, on his Twitter account. Not a lot is known about the anime, execpt it will have the same characters as the manga. It is unknown if the anime will follow the manga or be a spin-off anime to the manga.
