Template:Infobox character The Squid Sisters (Japanese: シオカラーズ Shiokaraazu) are an idol group in Inkopolis, consisting of Callie and Marie (アオリ、ホタル Aori and Hotaru). They are also the hostesses for Inkopolis News, which announces events, new maps and announces other battle related news. These cousins host Splatfest which is an event where players decide one side to fight for. After battling it out the winning side of Splatfest get a Super Sea Snail . Though they are cousins, they have the same birthmark, just on different sides of their faces.
Callie
Callie's birthmark is on her left cheek. Her color scheme is black/magenta. She has two long, pink, and black tentacles for "hair", similar to the hair of a female Inkling. She has one spherical and one rectangular earring. Unlike Marie, she wears a pink and black romper. She has a rectangular piece of sushi on her head. Callie has an edgier design in comparison to her cousin's sultry design. She is very excitable and is usually seen with a grin on her face.
Marie
Marie's birthmark is on her right cheek. Her color scheme is white/light green/black. She has a short, green, and white bob that is curled out at the ends; a style that is exclusive to her. She has one pyramid shaped earring and one rectangular earring. Unlike her cousin, she wears a light green and black dress. She has a hoop shaped piece of sushi on her head. Marie is much less excitable than Callie, and usually only gives a half smile, as her face while resting is in a frown. Her design seems to be the more sultry of the two.
