Meaning of the Japanese name

The name has some puns (like some other Deep Cut songs) that probably requires explanation. What we figured out so far: ぴしゃげる (pishageru) is "slap" in Hiroshima dialect. ド (do) sounds close to ぞ (zo) which is a particle added after a verb to emphasize intention. ぴしゃ (pisha) is an onomatopoeia for slap/splash.

It's a dialectical form of ひしゃげる hishageru which is "to be crushed/squashed" – this is what L1 Japanese friends suggested when I asked them about it, and I'm guessing it's more meant to get at this meaning rather than the 'slap' one. 鉄槌 tettsui has a literal meaning of "iron hammer" but can be used to mean to "crack down" harshly (e.g. on crime) or a "crushing below" delivered in battle. So, both words are embodying this same sort of feeling. I personally don't like 'castigation' in a potential TL here but that's just personal preference. I've hopefully added enough contest and now someone else can arbitrarily come up with a localization. Or we can just add this info (in a more succinct manner, please) directly to the meaning page – I'd argue it's not really our job to localize or come up with fan titles, except where strictly needed (i.e. not semi-obscure BGM tracks that already have official localizations). –Eli (talk) 12:45, 29 August 2023 (UTC)

The song seems to have a reference to Calamari Inkantation. Should this be added?

Big Betrayal seems to reference a part of Calamari Inkantation after Frye is done talking. It seems to reference the part that plays immediately after the intro ends in the original Calamari Inkantation (and all versions after). Is this noteworthy enough to be added? Why was the file removed? Is this really leaked content?

Are any audiovisual files regarding content not yet implemented in the game not allowed simply because it's future content, regardless of whether or not it's been officially posted by Nintendo? WUTAdam Talk 04:20, 8 September 2023 (UTC)
