This was announced in the Nintendo Direct today, along with version 3.0.0 SquidDude123 (talk) 02:58, 9 March 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Move

This page should either be expanded and moved to Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion or merged into Splatoon 2. --Raltseye prata med mej 03:30, 9 March 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I think it is fine where it is.--Doughnutsprinkles8 (talk) 19:19, 29 May 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yeah, after some thought it's best to leave out Splatoon 2 from the title of the page at least. --Raltseye prata med mej 20:43, 29 May 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

trivia (8ball)

Im new at this editing thing, so forgive me if this is not the right way to do this, but it has not gone unnoticed that the levels for octo are references to the 80’s and 90’s pop culture. As such, even though most of the pages for the individual levels state the reference in the trivia secion, I personally think it would be appropriate to mention it in the main article for octo expansion. Also, the 8ball levels are references to the responses from the Magic 8 Ball toy, which was popularized in the appropriate decades listed earlier. Seeing as there are multiple levels with this same trivia, i think it would be better to list that under the main article rather than copy and paste it on the article for each level. But im new at this so, ill leave it up to those who actually know what theyre doing. (Acrid (talk) 18:44, 19 June 2018 (UTC)Acrid)Reply[reply]

Personally, I think a general point on the main article stating that level names are references to 80's/90's pop culture and keeping what the references actually are on the pages of the levels themselves. Inkling luke.png Inkling talk.png 19:06, 19 June 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
