Alt text

Hello, I've never seen anyone add "alt" text to images on this wiki. What purpose does that serve? Is it for blind people? Heddy (talk) 22:23, 3 April 2022 (UTC)

Hope I'm replying correctly I've never done it before. But yes! Alternate text is for blind users. By describing the image in the alt text box users who have a screen reader, typically blind folks, can have the text read off by the screen reader and they can get a bit more information. I hope I described it well, I'm not entirely sure how it works either but something is better than nothing. I also hope I described the images well so anybody who needs the images read to them has a good understanding of what Headspace looks like. ShnowyFox (talk) 23:05, 3 April 2022 (UTC)
