weapons?

seems the weapon rotation for big run is a golden rotation (all grizzco weapons), implied by the promo image. should this be put on the page as a theory or no? Cassiopeia (talk) 15:10, 31 August 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

We typically don't permit speculation on pages. That said, no speculation is needed: File:S3 Grand Festival Big Run promo NA.jpg outright demonstrates that it is a golden rotation. Feel free to add it! It may be good to link to this section as well. Trig Jegman - 15:17, 31 August 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
ah great! i’ve honestly barely even looked at the other promos lol, i’ll add it

Big Run Independent Page

I think there should be another Grand Splatlands Bowl page that focuses on the Big Run event more then as a general location article. Or maybe it could be added to the Big run page? There is a lot to say about it as a big run event. If such a page already exists, can someone point me to it? Inktoling (talk) 06:27, 8 September 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

We've been vaguely floating the idea of making per-event Big Run pages for some time now, but no one's begun work on a draft. Basically it's a very worthwhile concept but there's quite a few logistics we have to find solutions for, and no one's had the time to cook up a demonstration. Any and all thoughts on the matter are appreciated; if you'd like to get started on a draft please feel free! We have draft guidelines/instructions over here.
There's a few things to consider; for starters each Big run event hasn't had a unique name for us to work with (the way Splatfests do), so we could either create dedicated pages focusing on the event dates with the Big Run/September 2024 format, or we could focus on the main featured per-event stages in the Big Run/Grand Splatlands Bowl format. And that's only if we think the subpage system is the way to go, maybe individual non-subpage pages like our Splatfest coverage may be better (à la September 2024 Big Run). The per-stage handling aims to separate documentation for the Big Run version of stage layouts from the regular multiplayer layouts. The idea was to tack on the individual event details to these hypothetical per-stage subpages; the introduction of Big Big Run where multiple stages return threw a wrench into this concept, but it's still worth thinking about. An alternative page formatting was proposed for this à la Grand Splatlands Bowl/Big Run.
I think the best formatting would be the first example I gave (Big Run/September 2024) but I see the merits of per-stage handling as well. Overall more discussion is needed on this topic. Yoshifan52 (talk) 07:54, 8 September 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Gear Brands on central block

On the rising block in the center of the stage, there are logos of some gear brands but I am unsure if this (with images) should be added to the page or not Alexolotl Master (talk) 22:01, 16 September 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Out of the 18 main gear brands, Splash Mob and SquidForce are missing. SquidForce may be due to the logo being on the sides of the block when it is raised, and there is a brand logo that I have been unable to trace that may be connected to Splash Mob Alexolotl Master (talk) 22:02, 16 September 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
