Notice regarding boilerplate templates
Hi, staff saw some of your recent edits and we must inform you that {{S2}}
and similar templates are boilerplate templates, so they are only meant to assist in quickly writing new articles or new sections. Please do not change any existing text to this kind of template; doing so does not improve the article, and is considered unproductive. To be clear, no action is needed from you, other than ceasing this type of edit. Continuing to do these edits may be considered as artificial inflation of edit count. I thank you for your understanding, and please let me know if you have any questions.
In addition, I see that you are new to the site and have been quite active. Welcome, and thanks for your contributions to Inkipedia! Heddy (talk) 11:54, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for the information! I will stop doing those edits, I did not realize they were unhelpful - I had mistakenly thought that those specific edits would be good for consistency. I will be more mindful of my edits, to make sure they are beneficial to articles and the wiki.
- Thank you for the welcome, and I appreciate everyone's patience with any mistakes that I may make while I am still learning! Lid (talk) 16:34, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
Criteria for Notable Trivia
Hello,
It appears there is some contention as to what qualifies as notable trivia. The wiki's official policy on trivia mentions one acceptable purview being "[seemingly] unintentional recurrences". I believe the occurrence of repeated kits between unrelated weapons falls within this criteria, as it would be unlikely for such instances to be direct references. - Hi, staff has decided in recent times that weapon-related trivia had been getting out of hand and that trivia regarding shared kits should only be included on pages in the case of the presence of some additional notable similarity. As the trivia policy also says, we are not looking to provide an indiscriminate collection of information. Thank you!

About capitalizing the words "Charger" and "Roller"
Hi! I just saw this edit of yours where you capitalized the words "Charger" and "Roller". Although, the main page for Charger and Roller, as well as any other weapon class, doesn't have it capitalized since this isn't a name of a specific weapon but rather a name of a whole class. I was wondering if this is your mistake or something mentioned in the manual of style? Because either your edit needs to be reverted or all other pages mentioning the weapon class names needs to be edited đ¤ Milchik (talk) 17:05, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- Weapon class names are not proper nouns, so they should not be capitalized. Lid's edit was in line with this format.

- Yes, I have been working on changing references to weapon classes to be uncapitalized words, per Manual of style: Capitalization. For instance, "Charger" fixed to be "charger". Lid (talk) 17:12, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- ...For some reason, I saw the edit and thought otherwise (as if you were capitalizing them, not the other way), so it's totally my light case of dyslexia's bad and I'm really sorry for bothering you :""D

- Haha it's all good! Mistakes happen, and I know from my experience with dyslexia that is doesn't help with mix-ups. Do not worry about it, and thank you for checking on edits and making sure that they are good quality! Lid (talk) 22:22, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
