Members of the autopatrol group are experienced editors who have made large numbers of edits, which do not need to be individually patrolled. Their edits are automatically marked as patrolled.
Bureaucrats and administrators may grant autopatrol at their discretion, in order to alleviate the workload of patrollers and other staff members. Editors cannot apply for autopatrol. Autopatrol is not a staff position.
Autopatrol may be revoked if site activity or quality of edits decreases.
