Description
Kraken Up refers to the music track heard across Splatoon, playing in the duration of a match in any multiplayer mode. It can also be heard in Squid Beatz. The first 3 seconds are vocals, in which lead to the verse by a small drum solo. Vocals continue in the verse, accompanied by drums and guitar. Around 23 seconds, the verse will end, merging into the pre-chorus, which has no vocals; but they're replaced by the piano synthesiser. The second half of the pre-chorus includes vocals. The 35 second mark introduces the chorus, which is introduced by somewhat of a Splat Bomb being thrown. The vocals are reduced to an 8-bit style mixed with a repetition of pauses. The chorus repeats by a clip of the Booyah radius signal (without the bell jingle and voice). The second part is octaved. It repeats again, but without the second part. It is replaced by the section before it is looped.
