The Splatoon 2 European Championship 2018-2019 was a tournament that took place on 2019-03-9 till 10 March 2019 in Paris, France.
The tournament was officially announced on June 21, 2018.[1]

1 team was chosen to represent each of the 12 regions at the European Championship, each through their own tournament.

Germany Backsquids The Splatoon 2 German Championship 2018 was used to determine what team would be representing the Germany region in the tournament. BackSquids won, earning their spot in the European Championship. The team was formerly known as Gucci Gang, who won the Splatoon European Championship and were the runner-ups of the Splatoon 2 World Championship at E3 2018.[2][3]
