Template:InfoboxGame The Splatoon Testfire was the second Splatoon demo, released by Nintendo on 15 August 2015. Similarly to the Splatoon Global Testfire, Nintendo hosted various events at specific times for players to all join the game at once. The first event took place on 21 August 2015.
Event times
The North American event times were announced on 15 August 2015 and later reconfirmed through Live from Squid Research Lab.[1] The event ran from 21 to 23 August 2015 at 22:00 UTC each day and lasted two hours per session.
Differences from the Global Testfire
- This demo had a different icon from the Splatoon Global Testfire demo.
- The "pre-purchase" text on the title screen was changed to "purchase" as the game had already been released.
- The Global Testfire demo was 6 MB larger than this demo.
