Super jumping is the action of being launched from a launchpad in Hero Mode and the action of being launched to a spawn point, a teammate, or a Squid Beakon in multiplayer mode.

In Hero Mode, super jumping is performed by turning into a squid on a launchpad, usually at the end of a Checkpoint.

In multiplayer, super jumping is performed by tapping a teammate on the gamepad, your team's spawn point, or a Squid Beakon.

Super jumping takes a few seconds and a marker will appear on the ground to show where you are launching to whilst jumping. Unless you have the Stealth Jump ability, this marker is visible to both your team and the enemy team, so they may attempt to trap or splat you as soon as you land.
