The Kensa Dynamo Roller – along with all other Dynamo Rollers – is not a slayer. It is too slow – both in terms of mobility and DPS to fulfill the role of one. While its turfing and propensity to build up the special gauge gives it characteristics of a support, two of the top players in North America, Power of Slaughterhouse – former world champion with Deadbeat – and Ice of Starburst – two time North American champion and finalist in the Splatoon 2 World Championship 2019 – consider the Dynamo to be a pseudo-anchor.[1] DaDoc540 (talk) 02:19, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

Chara (formerly of Prophecy and Climb) posted a link to this video describing various techniques to improve the mobility and offense of a Dynamo Roller, including specific tips regarding both the Gold and Kensa variations (due to their sub weapons).
